2011 SKINS Ice Short Sleeve Compression Top
Skins ICE short sleeve compression top has been specifically designed to give you freedom of movement during activity while keeping you cool in warm weather. Skins ICE features Microencapsulation Technology (MET) to embed tiny microcapsules into its proprietary fabric during the manufacturing process. When you start to perspire and your body temperature rises, these microcapsules release a cooling menthol substance that has been scientifically proven to induce a cool feeling by stimulating thermo receptors in your skin. A subtle menthol aroma is also released during activity which further evokes a cool sensation.
Skins ICE short sleeve top also incorporates CROM (Complete Range of Motion) technology to strategically position motion tech panels in the shoulder and chest area. Therapeutic gradient compression across your torso and arms improves core stability, muscle awareness and body temperature control, while a UPF50+ rating ensures protection from the sun. The gradient compression is formed by applying a higher level of compression on the muscles furthest away from your heart which in turn forces more blood back to the heart more efficiently. Not only does this increase the venous return by 30%, it also delivers more oxygen to your working muscles, removes lactic acid faster, and improves your endurance.
