2012 Shimano Di2 FD-7970 Front Derailleur

Shimano Di2 front derailleur contains the shifting logic and enables 7970 shifters (F & R) to stay in constant communication. The computer tracks which chainring and cog the system is in, and changes shifting strategies depending on where you are in the front and rear. Continual micro-trim adjustments not only eliminate need for trim, but also calibrate cage for optimal next-shift efficiency.

• Di2 electronic front derailleur (requires separate shifters, wire harness, and battery pack)
• Redesigned wide pivot link and cage profile for improved shifting efficiency and optimized for compact and standard chainring combinations with a 43.5mm chainline
• Braze-on fits frames with pre existing front derailleur braze-on (can also be used with 28.6/31.8mm or 34.9mm braze-on/clamp adapters)
